Private Blue Mountains tours from Sydney, exclusively for your group of up to 7 guests. Visit cliff-top lookouts for stunning views of the mountains, including some of the quieter spots. Choose to take a scenic walk suited to your ability, or experience the train and cablecar attractions at Scenic World. This tour also includes a visit to a wildlife park in the west of Sydney, where you can get up close to iconic Australian animals. Travel by a spacious and luxurious Mercedes Viano people-mover.

You will be picked up from your accommodation in Sydney CBD at 7:45am. It’s approximately 2-hours to the main sightseeing area in the Blue Mountains and there is often a stop made about halfway in a small village for a coffee break.

The first viewpoint stop is in the Wentworth Falls area, where you will see the expansive valleys the Blue Mountains region is known for. From here, it’s a short drive to the Katoomba area, where many of the most well-known viewpoints are located. You have the option to visit Scenic World – with activities including cable cars, a steep train ride into the valley and a boardwalk through a section of rainforest (entrance fee additional - approximately AU$32 per adult). Alternatively, you can take a longer walk along the cliff-top, which offers scenic views and passes Katoomba Falls and Cascades (walking time approx. 45 minutes, medium grade).

After Scenic World or the cliff-top walk, arrive at Echo Point, the most well-known vantage point for views of the famous Three Sisters rock formation. Hear the Aboriginal Dreaming story of their creation and take in the sweeping panorama of the Jamison Valley.

Lunch is in the picturesque neighboring village of Leura, which has a good range of boutique shops, cafes and restaurants. Most food requirements can be catered for. Your guide will suggest a suitable venue based on your preferences and make a reservation if required.

After lunch, head down to the western suburbs of Sydney for a visit to Featherdale Wildlife Park. The park’s focus is on Aussie animals. You can get a photo with a koala, feed a kangaroo and discover the unique nature of Australian fauna.

From here, travel back to the city centre. Return to Sydney CBD is by public ferry along the Parramatta River and Sydney Harbour (ticket price included but you can make your own way back from the ferry terminal to your hotel), or by road with hotel drop-off. Return time is normally between 5 and 6pm.

Hunter Valley Private Tour 1 - 7 People

Enjoy a private Hunter Valley wine tour from Sydney, exclusively for your group of up to 7 guests. Enjoy wine tasting at up to 4 boutique wineries plus an optional stop to taste cheese before enjoying a delicious lunch.

Your tour focuses on visiting smaller, more boutique wineries in the Hunter Valley offering low production but high-quality wines not widely available outside the region. You will have the opportunity to try a wide range of grape varieties, including semillon – the variety for which the Hunter Valley is best known – chardonnay, verdelho, shiraz and a number of others.

Departing from your Sydney CBD hotel at approximately 7:45am, you will cross Sydney Harbour Bridge and travel through the northern suburbs of the city towards the Hunter Valley. For the last 30 minutes of the journey, you will travel on a picturesque country road through rural towns and villages.

You will arrive at the first winery at approximately 10:15am for your introduction to Hunter Valley wine, which will include the grape varieties typical of the region.

In the central Pokolbin area, you can choose to stop at a cheese shop where most of the cheese is made locally, and by hand - it’s true artisan local product. There are also a number of other products to sample such as jams, pickles and tapenade. Feel free to order a small sample plate with four to five cheeses (at own expense).

Stay in the central area for the second winery visit, where you can enjoy more of the Hunter Valley's excellent wines through a tasting.

Stop for lunch at the Hunter Valley Gardens complex where you can choose from a number of different eateries (at own expense). There are three cafes offering pies, burgers, mixed platters and other typical Australian food. If you prefer a more formal restaurant, you can dine at The Cellar Restaurant. The Cellar is an established dining venue in the Valley, known for its modern Australian and Mediterranean-inspired cuisine, along with a highly regarded wine list. (A la carte and package lunch options available at The Cellar, closed Sundays, alternatives available.)

After lunch, you will head to your third winery for a tasting. For the final stop, guests can choose between a fourth winery, a micro-brewery where you can enjoy a beer tasting (at own expense), or a distillery for vodka and other spirits (at own expense).

Departing the Hunter Valley at approximately 3:45pm, you return to Sydney CBD at approximately 6:15pm.

South Coast Private Tour 1 - 7 People

Travel along scenic coastal and country roads for incredible views of the ocean and countryside for which the region is famous. Visit typical Australian beach side towns and villages. Optional activities include swimming and coastal walks.

Departing from Sydney CBD, this tour first travels through the city's southern suburbs and then along a section of the renowned Grand Pacific Drive, one of Australia’s great coastal drives. Here, stop at a clifftop viewpoint (and popular parasailing and hang gliding launch point) for views of the coastline and the Illawarra Escarpment, which dominates the landscape of the region. Pass through typical Australian beach side communities, with time for to dip your toes in the water or take a quick swim. Drive, or walk, along the Sea Cliff Bridge, a stretch of the coast road jutting out from the cliff-side and considered a marvel of modern engineering.

Next, veer inland slightly and pass through an agricultural region – famed for its green rolling hills and dairy industry – on your way to Kiama, one of the South Coast’s most pleasant coastal towns. Stop at a headland to take in the town and coastline and view the famed Blowhole, where, when the conditions are right, the sea surges up through a gap in the dark volcanic rock. Stay in Kiama for lunch (at own expense). The town has a range of eateries to suit most tastes and budgets. You can also take a stroll along the main streets, which feature heritage buildings and craft shops.

Leave Kiama and make your final stop in the town of Wollongong, the region’s commercial and industrial centre. Although known for its steel industry, Wollongong draws visitors to its appealing waterfront precinct, the “Blue Mile”. Enjoyed by locals and tourists alike, at the headland cannon batteries reflect the importance of the town in years past, and the steel plant can be viewed sitting incongruously along the sandy coastline. Further along, the peaceful harbor – with its two lighthouses, tranquil beach and cafes – is a popular place for rest and relaxation. From here, make the return journey to Sydney.
